LOK ZINE #12 "GEN(DER)RE/GENERE
"XXY" is a series of four illustrations inserted in the zine number 12 of Lock Zine, an editorial collective between Reggio Emilia and Paris. The zine, released in November 2020, wants to navigate the gender theme, so I thought of making a sort of identikit of a boy, starting from a portrait, passing through the detail of the bust and hand with the flower, to get to the full figure that represents the character in its entirety, enriched by elements that identify him in a fluid genre, theme taken up through the use of watercolor that enhances this quality.
XXY in medical language indicates the individual who is born with both male (XX) and female chromosomes

The zine has been selected to participate in the Grand Prix de la ville Angouleme (Angouleme, France).
